My Story
God graciously gave me new life in Christ while I was in college. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Stetson University and a master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia and built a successful career in finance. I spent over a decade serving as a financial analyst and Certified Public Accountant before responding to God’s call to pastoral ministry. In 2017, I earned a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and was ordained as a pastor in 2019.
As a bi-vocational pastor, I have been blessed to provide biblical counseling and guidance in areas such as premarital and marital relationships, parenting, conflict resolution, foster and adoptive care, financial stewardship, and career development. I was adopted out of foster care and enjoy speaking about this topic. God has taught our family a great deal about the heart of Jesus and how to live the Christian life through being licensed foster parents for a decade.
I am passionate about sharing the gospel and equipping others to live out their faith in everyday life. My greatest joy in ministry comes through evangelism—especially when serving alongside my wife of 21 years, Heather, and our four children (ages 18, 16, 11, and 7). Together, we love engaging our community through outreach opportunities that bring faith and life together. In my free time, I enjoy many activities with my family including surfing, fishing, coaching youth sports, and building lasting relationships.
