My Story
Biblical Life Coaching with Alli Phillips
I became a Biblical Life Coach because I want to offer others the encouragement and tools I once needed when I felt hopeless and stuck.
In my mid-twenties, I faced years of infertility and pregnancy loss, unsure of what to think or how to feel. I was married and surrounded by family and friends, yet I felt lonely, sad, and angry. Those unprocessed emotions led to beliefs and behaviors that hurt the people I loved most and left me questioning my faith. I needed help but didn’t know where to turn. The church was silent about sexuality, and I was weighed down by shame. In desperation, I cried out to God—even when I wasn’t sure He was listening. I am so grateful He always is. Through God’s healing, my faith and marriage were renewed. My husband and several others loved me through the confusion and pain, and God used their care to draw me closer to Him.
As a former teacher, I have a heart for helping people of every age learn, grow, and overcome obstacles. My years as a women’s pregnancy center director gave me the opportunity to counsel young women in some of life’s most difficult circumstances. As a wife of nearly 30 years and a mom to five children, both biological and adopted, I understand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed while trying to stay connected to God, your spouse, and your family in today’s culture.
I bring all of these experiences into my coaching practice, and my prayer is to provide a safe space where you can process your beliefs and feelings about faith, sexuality, relationships, parenting, and more. Deep down, we all wrestle with the same questions: “Am I loved? Am I safe? Do I have a purpose?” When the answer to those questions is “yes,” we are freed to love others more fully, and our relationships begin to thrive.
I am a Gottman Seven Principles Educator, a Prepare and Enrich Facilitator, and hold a Sexual Discipleship certification through Moody Bible Institute. Still, my coaching approach is never one-size-fits-all—it’s tailored to the unique needs of each person or couple I work with. As a Christian, I coach from a biblical framework, but I welcome individuals and couples of all beliefs. I believe every person has innate worth and value, and I am committed to treating everyone with kindness, dignity, and respect.
